2026 UCI regulation compatibility

The 2026 UCI Technical Regulations define the fixed time-trial extension handlebar as including the sections intended for the hands, and specify that the dimensional measurements for the extension extremity and vertical envelope are taken “including accessories.”

The UCI Technical Regulation Clarification Guide also explicitly defines a handlebar grip as an accessory designed to provide padding and vibration damping to ensure a proper grip between the hands and handlebars.
