1625 Sweatshirt from Runwell

It is said that blacksmithing techniques in Tsubame-Sanjo began in 1625 (Kanei 2) when blacksmiths were brought in from Edo to help farmers who were suffering from the flooding of the river that flowed through the area and their rice fields were submerged.

This long sleeve shirt was designed to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the origin of blacksmithing in Tsubamesanjo, and with the theme of "having pride and determination as an inheritor of history and tradition."
