Discover FMB premium handmade bicycle tires, crafted in France since 2005 for cyclists who demand exceptional performance, comfort and ride quality.
FMB is renowned for its handmade tubular tires for road racing and cyclocross, produced using carefully selected materials including high-density cotton casings, natural latex and pure rubber cement. Each tire is designed to deliver outstanding suppleness, grip, comfort and road feel, while providing the durability and puncture resistance needed for serious racing.
Open Tubular tires
FMB also offers Open Tubular tires, combining the performance characteristics of a traditional tubular with the convenience of a standard clincher tire. Built using the same high-quality casings as FMB tubulars, Open Tubulars provide a smooth, responsive and comfortable ride for road cyclists who want premium performance without the complexity of a tubular setup.
Whether you're racing Track, road or cyclocross, if you are simply looking for the finest handmade bicycle tires available, FMB offers premium French craftsmanship trusted by cyclists who refuse to compromise on performance.

FAQ
Are tubulars easy to install?
In short, not really.
We recommend visiting your local bike shop to install your tubular tires.
Tubular tires are glued to the rim. It requires skills, knowledge and experience to properly glue a tubular to a Track wheel.
What is the difference between a tire and a tubular tire?
A standard tire, also called a clincher or tubeless tire, has an open casing with beads that fit onto the rim. With a clincher setup, a separate inner tube holds the air, while a tubeless setup uses an airtight tire and rim system without an inner tube.
A tubular tire is a completely different construction. The tire casing is sewn around the inner tube, creating one self-contained unit. The tubular is then glued or taped directly onto a specially designed tubular rim.
Tubular tires are traditionally popular in Track racing and cyclocross because they offer excellent ride quality, cornering characteristics, and the ability to be ridden at very high pressure for Track and lower pressures for CX. They require a compatible tubular rim and a different installation process than standard tires.
Which tubular tire should I choose
Interesting question. At Trackloft, we created a visual chart so you can pick the best Tubular for your riding or racing style.
Typically, we recommend the Super Pista for general usage and training.
The Olympic record and Super Pista Latex are great tubulars for racing, and finally, the Ultra Gold and Ultra 3000 are at the very top of the performance range. You would not use these on a daily basis, but only for important events.
