Good news for all track riders! We’ve received official confirmation from Vision/FSA that the Vision Metron Track handlebar will be UCI legal for 2027.
With new UCI handlebar regulations on the horizon, riders have understandably been asking what the changes mean for their equipment. The UCI’s published clarification sets a minimum handlebar width of 350 mm for mass-start track events from 1 January 2027, measured between the two outer edges of the handlebar.
The Vision Metron Track handlebar meets minimum width requirements at the widest part as well as at the 2/3 point of the total height.
The maximum flare registers at 65mm and max width of the top section measures 52mm. All well within 2027 UCI rules.
The track requirement is also distinct from the wider minimum introduced for mass-start road and cyclo-cross events.
